Laced Records bringt im Juni 2026 gemeinsam mit Nintendo den Original Soundtrack zu „The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild“ auf Vinyl heraus. Das umfangreiche Boxset umfasst acht Schallplatten mit insgesamt 130 neu gemasterten Tracks von Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai und Soshi Abe. Die Platten erscheinen wahlweise in einer limitierten Deluxe-Ausgabe mit blau-goldenem Splatter-Effekt oder in klassischem Schwarz. Verpackt ist das Set in einem stabilen Doppelschuber mit bedruckten Innenhüllen und Archiv-Artworks von Nintendo.
Jede Seite der Schallplatten ist thematisch aufgebaut und spiegelt die musikalische Reise durch Hyrule wider – von Erkundungen über Kämpfe bis hin zu den Auseinandersetzungen mit den Titanen. Der Soundtrack vereint neue musikalische Elemente mit bekannten Zelda-Motiven und begleitet Links Abenteuer von den ersten Klavierklängen bis zum orchestralen Finale.
Parallel erscheint eine verkürzte Doppel-Vinyl mit 34 ausgewählten Stücken, darunter „Overworld (Day)“, „Great Fairy Fountain“ und „Hyrule Castle“. Diese Version bietet eine musikalische Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Themen und Szenen des Spiels, ebenfalls in limitierter Farbpressung oder schwarzem Vinyl, verpackt in einer bedruckten Hülle mit Archiv-Artwork.
