Blue Underground bringt im August 2026 den Fantasy-Abenteuerfilm „Circle of Iron“ im Vertrieb von MVD exklusiv im MVD Shop in den USA als Steelbook mit 4K UHD und Blu-ray heraus. Die auf 4.000 Exemplare limitierte Edition enthält eine neue 4K-Restaurierung des Films, die vom originalen Kameranegativ in 4K mit 16-Bit-Scan erstellt wurde. Die 4K UHD bietet Dolby Vision, während als englische Tonoptionen Dolby Atmos sowie DTS-HD 5.1 und DTS-HD 1.0 enthalten sind. Regie führte Richard Moore. Vor der Kamera stehen David Carradine, Jeff Cooper, Christopher Lee, Roddy McDowall und Eli Wallach.
„Circle of Iron“, auch unter dem Titel „The Silent Flute“ bekannt, basiert auf einer Idee von Bruce Lee, der das Projekt gemeinsam mit seinem Freund und Schüler James Coburn sowie Drehbuchautor Stirling Silliphant entwickelte. Lee sah den Film als eines seiner wichtigsten Vorhaben an, verstarb jedoch, bevor das Projekt verwirklicht werden konnte. Erst fünf Jahre nach seinem Tod wurde seine Vision umgesetzt. Der Film verbindet fernöstliche Philosophie mit einer Reise voller mystischer Begegnungen und Martial-Arts-Elemente und entwickelte sich über die Jahre zu einem Kultfilm.
