Ich liebe diesen Film! Die 4K wurde bei Arrow direkt vorbestellt. Gehört zum Oktober Line-up des Labels. Auch Ferrara‘s „Die Frau mit der .45er Magnum“ sowie die Comic-Verfilmung „Spawn“ bekommen dort jetzt im Oktober ihre 4K Premiere.
Da können deutsche Labels/Publisher einpacken. Hier werden Filme nur dann restauriert und in 4K ausgewertet (wenn überhaupt!), wenn es sich dabei um deutsche Filme und selbstverständlich schwerste Vergangenheitsbewältigung handelt. Ich werde es vermutlich nicht mehr erleben, dass sich ein deutsches Label mal eines ausländischen (!) Films annimmt und diesen eigenverantwortlich in 4K restauriert UND auswertet. Längst zieht die Welt an Deutschland lächelnd vorbei. Die Bevölkerung steht noch immer größtenteils da und fragt sich, wie das geht. Trotz optimistischer Grundeinstellung: So wird das hier nichts mehr.
