Lionsgate Home Entertainment bringt im November dieses Jahres in Großbritannien „Saw“ (2004) erneut im bereits bekannten Limited Edition Steelbook mit 4K UHD und Blu-ray heraus. „Saw II“ (2005) folgt ebenfalls als Limited Edition Steelbook mit 4K UHD und Blu-ray, hier zusätzlich mit einem PET-Slipcover. Bei beiden Filmen ist der Unrated Directors Cut enthalten.
Den Auftakt der Reihe inszenierte James Wan mit Cary Elwes, Leigh Whannell, Danny Glover, Dina Meyer, Ken Leung, Michael Emerson, Monica Potter, Shawnee Smith und Tobin Bell. Für „Saw II“ übernahm Darren Lynn Bousman die Regie, zur Besetzung gehören unter anderem Donnie Wahlberg, Shawnee Smith, Tobin Bell, Dina Meyer, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Erik Knudsen und Beverley Mitchell.

Ich warte bis auch die Blu Rays mal mit einem besseren Master ausgestattet werden. Bis dahin belasse ich es bei den alten in meiner Sammlung.
Teil 1 im 4k Steelbook würde ich mir in die Sammlung holen, die anderen Teile eher nicht. Ich habe die 9 Movie Blu Ray Collection aus Österreich und Saw X auf Blu Ray, das reicht mir so.
Ein Libary Case mit allen Teilen wäre genial
Also warten wir auf die Bestätigung des Releases hier in Deutschland…..Denn dann werden sicherlich alle anderen Teile folgen….
